Arsecast Extra Episode 558 – 11.12.2023

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we look back on the 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday. We discuss the Villa goal, the chances that Arsenal failed to take on the evening that should have been enough to get at least a point from the game, and whether or not we did enough to break their offside trap. We also chat about substitutions and whether there’s something missing from the bench when it comes to our attacking options. Then we do listener questions about Kai Havertz, Arsenal Women’s big win over Chelsea, officiating again after more contentions decisions in this game and whether there’s anything Mikel Arteta can do about it, our results in big away games this season, and lots more.

Remember, you can send us questions via which we’ll try and get to each week. Send them to either @arseblog or @Gunnerblog (or both) using the hashtag #arsecastextra. Best to send them Monday morning so they get noticed more easily.
